2012 - Room 6

Room 6 is a body of work that sprang from a collection of drawings made after moving into a rented room in Exeter.

Set in the eaves of the house the room was full of many interesting angles and spaces which would make strong compositions.

The colour palette remains the same throughout all the paintings. So although they vary in light and tone there is overall consistency.

I concluded the project by making a number of Chinese ink drawings from the paintings.
